This is a brief newsletter, the full newsletter will be published Thursday 29 April and continue on a fortnightly basis.
Welcome back to Term 2. We hope you had some time off to enjoy the lovely weather over Easter and that our students had a relaxing holiday. It has been wonderful to see our students excited to be back at school, catching up with friends and ready for a busy term of learning.
Home Reader Program
Coming home today is our parent brochure explaining BPS whole school Home Reading Program. All students from Kinder- Grade 6 can participate and are able to read any book of their choosing. Just sign each night they read, and we will celebrate their milestone achievements in the newsletter. If you have any questions, please chat with your child’s class teacher.
Catching Up with Classroom Teachers
Parents and Carers are welcome to catch-up with classroom teachers at pick-up and drop-off times, using the outside doors. However, if you need longer than 15 minutes when meeting with the teacher you will need to make an appointment via See-Saw or the Office and sign in at the front office.
New Staff
We would like to welcome Georgette Moore to BPS leadership team. Georgette has many years’ experience as an AST and will make a wonderful addition to our school community.
