Thriving Connected School Community
Our school is unquestionably such a wonderful place to be because of all the extra and additional effort that our caring staff, families and community members do. I am reminded of this on a daily basis as I walk throughout our school. I would like to thank you all for making Burnie Primary School a supportive environment where our children feel safe and have many opportunities to thrive. This term, we continue to focus on our value of growth and continue to strive toward excellence in teaching and learning.
Lifting Off
Our Term 3 LIFT event was a HUGE success! We were truly impressed with the number of families who were able to join us for this special occasion. Our school was a hive of activity with a buzz of excitement from room to room. We recognise the importance of partnering with our families, and the rich follow-up conversations these opportunities promote. We had over 230 very important people attend! Thank you!

Every year the Department for Education, Children and Young People conducts a School Satisfaction Survey to find out what your child(ren)s school does well and where it may improve. We would be grateful if you completed our online survey about Burnie Primary School. Your feedback is very important to help us inform our school-planning and decision-making. The survey is open from Monday 26 August 2024 until Friday 20 September 2024 and should take about 5 minutes to complete. Each family should nominate one person to fill in this survey for their child(ren). Take the online survey by clicking this Link, or pasting it in your browser: https://nam.dcv.ms/KsEcVi6gmW
